This week I kept working on my dispenser box. I changed the design to stop more than one Jolly Rancher from coming out, but no matter what I did I couldn't stop it. Mr. Christy showed me a new design to stop this from happening, which is much more complicated but I should be able to do it. I wanted to get some work done on my rim holder, so I unfolded the sheet metal in CAD and began making DXF files of everything. I almost finished but the slanted piece wasn't unfolding because I had extruded it at some point, so I had to redo most of it. I was having a lot of trouble getting it to align the way I wanted, and it took me a while to get it right. After that, I decided that I want to cut it all out of 1/8th inch steel, which our metal bender can't bend. I have to check in with Metal Fab about that and their machine that can make my rim, and I'm going to try to finish making the whole thing by next week.
